The Day of Silence is to recognize and protest the silence that LGBT people and their allies face every day due to harassment, violence and discrimination. Not every institution, state have nondiscrimination policies, meaning that people can lose their jobs for being LGBT. BC is one of those places. Come show your support for students, faculty, staff and administrators at BC as well as the LGBT community at large this Friday.
